Tribeca Dresser XL

A robust and ample dressoir, that is the ‘Tribeca’. This cupboard with four doors, a breadth of 160 centimetres and a height of 85 centimetres offers lots of room for all the unmissable things in the living room. Its rugged appearance comes from the striking slat structure, all of recycled wood. Sustainability was never so stylish!

Recycled elm wood is one of Rivièra Maison’s most used woods. The wood of this North American elm, aged by nature and daily use, was taken in the past to make front doors. 

About 80 to 120 years later, we reuse these front doors ‘untouched’ for parts of new furniture such as table tops, cabinet doors and drawer fronts. The furniture thus acquires a natural, weathered look. The pre-used doors are brushed clean, rinsed off and sawn to the exact dimensions of the furniture item. The imprints of hinges, locks and door handles are still clearly visible, making each piece of furniture a unique piece. Old, worn and pure nature.
